Hand embroidery highlighting the chevron texture of the sharara is done with multicolour sequins, multicolour anchor threads, small pearls, beads and cutdana. The sleeves and shoulder yoke of the kurta are embroidered with gold zari, silver cutdana, gold dapka, silver antique nalki, gold cutdana, antique gold sequins, multicolour beads and sequins, multicolor anchor threads and resham, small pearls and transparent sequins.
